Things have been busy, busy the last few months. Billy is doing very well in school and got all checks on his report card! He brought up his reading grade which is awesome. Next year he will be getting letter grades. Nathan is super excited to start Pre-K in the fall. We've been writing and learing some easy words together. He loves going to the library and picking out his own books to read. I enjoy seeing what he picks. :) We got SeaWorld passes so we plan on living there on the weekends for the rest of the year. hahaha.

I guess the other fun bit of news is that Billy learned how to ride his bike on Easter Sunday. He got right on and his daddy held his back and he started right down Grandma's driveway next thing you know he's speed racer! He loves riding his bike. :)

Better late, than never...

Well, here we are 2 months into 2009. I haven't updated in a while. The end of November with my miscarriage on into December with the passing of Tank our first baby who was to be 9 on Christmas Eve and then Papaw filled us with so much grief and sadness. Just way too much. I have never lost so much before or had so much saddness in my life as I had in 2008. (RIP Brian, It's been almost 1 year.) Anyways, enough of that I will try do better and keep up with this blog.

So far in 2009 Billy had Chickenpox for 18 days. He missed two full weeks of school. He got an AWESOME report card and is doing really well. Nathan is just to smart for his own good and won't put up with any of his brothers tricks. He is still ADDICTED to Thomas the Train. Nate turned 4 December 7th.

In 16 days I turn 29. I'm trying not to have an emotional breakdown over this and thank my mom for having me on Leap Day, that way I will only celebrate every 4 years for now on. hahaha. So I won't see 30 for a long long time. :)

The weather is hot and cold hot and cold. We have had 5 freezing nights 24 -30 degrees, which killed all my plants and roses . So that sucked.

Billy's first black eye

Well, on Sunday's we go to the library. On the way home the boys were playing around in the backseat and Nathan bonked Billy on the head with a DVD. This resulted in the following pictures.....


Icing it up

It turned black within 15 minutes and began to swell so big. I was freaked out! He said he was ok, and wanted to run and play. I let him be outside so he wouldn't be laying down tempted to fall asleep.

Monday morning we wake up to this beauty! His eye is open by the way. It is so purple and black. I kept him home and called the Dr. He said it's ok and it will look this way for 7 days and be bruised for another weeks or so after that.

In the afternoon, the dark purply line began getting light color around it. I keep checking him and he's finally started to yell at me to leave him alone he is fine!

A day of Fishing and Fun! 11/07

On Friday the 7th we picked up Billy from school and went fishing! The boys were excited! all 3 of them ahhaa. The weather here has been so beautiful lately. Highs in the 70's with an awesome breeze, so we have the windows open all day! The only fall leaves are those from my plumeria tree and my neighbors huge maple. All her leaves fall right into our yard!

Halloween fun!

Halloween was a fun day! I went to school with Billy and helped with his class party! They were dressed in all black to tranform in Spiders. Later we went to our church for Trunk or Treat! They boys got lots of candy and had fun with the games and bounce house! Finally we went Trick or Treating around pine valley cir. and pebble beach like every year and like I did when I was a little girl! Nathan was Thomas the Train and Billy was a Clone Trooper from Star Wars.
